The Rii Mini Keyboard is exactly what it says on the tin, a mini keyboard. Of course, I'm referring to the size compared with a normal computer keyboard - and it's a good deal smaller. This device weighs justa mere 3.2 oz., with dimensions of just 5.9 inches by 2.3 inches by 0.5 inches, while a standard keyboard is approximately 18 inches by 2 inches by 8 inches. It's light and small, which makes it perfect for people on the move as it's so convenient to have with you. Because it's so small, the Rii fits easily between your hands for a comfortable typing experience.

Not only can you use the Rii Mini Wireles Keyboard with your desktop computer, and your laptop computer, it's also a terrific accessory for your PS3 or wiki gaming systems. Since the keyboard utilizes a Bluetooth wireless USB receiver for wireless connectivity, you don't need to mess around with any wires, and lots of devices are wireless nowadays, making it easy to hook up this keyboard to your electronics. The Rii features the familiar laptop type of touchpad, as well as full QWERTY capability. There are also 26 LED lights built into this mini keyboard for when the adjacent lighting is dark. The power supply comprises of two rechargeable lithium ion batteries, which come with the Rii.
On Amazon, the Rii has gotten plenty of reviews, most of them giving this product 4 and 5 stars. But possibly this product's first appearances are deceptive, as there are as well a number of ratings falling between 1 and 3 stars. One observation was that the keyboard didn't work right with an Ubuntu system over a range of 30 feet, but it was very good within that. 30 feet is quite a good distance however. Both playlist and volume button controls are furnished on the mini keyboard, which is terrific if the intended use is multimedia in character. Buttons that aren't regularly used also feature on this mini keyboard, which is great since they are sometimes needed so it would be an inconvenience if they weren't there.
However, like anything, there are some bad points. What is a bit of an inconvenience on occasion is that the touchpad is not as precise as we are accustomed to with typical laptop touchpads. Likewise, taps are not always recognized by the touchpad - but this can be avoided by rather using the left and right mouse buttons. There is a quirk with the QWERTY layout, in that the keys on the Rii are directly underneath each other, whereas they are staggered on a normal keyboard While it does take some getting used to, it is not a big deal.
Overall, this device is a nice device if you're looking for a smaller size that also has a mouse touchpad. The price is great, and the many pluses make the few negatives appear petty.
